Shannon Creek

Good conditions up Shannon Creek with significant snow accumulations in the past week. Despite this, very little in the way of slab avalanche activity with skier traffic. We saw one fresh Na size 1 thin slab that pulled out above the traverse ski track crossing upper Home Run, otherwise limited obs from alpine due to poor vis. In steep TL/BTL chutes we had some slow moving sluffs which gained significant mass and could knock you over if not careful. Snow overall felt like classic coastal pow and remained decent quality even at valley bottom. Quite a few people out despite the poor light.
