Ski pen 5 to 35 cm hollow sounding ice on the surface near Ridgetop and South West aspects Upper snowpack felt facetted under the skis at higher elevation’s Wind transport was observed in the afternoon Ridgetop rolling and in the Alpine intense turbulence suspension Snowpack tests hard to moderate results Found isolated pockets of wind slab that were stubborn to trigger nw aspects Surface snow dry/no pinwheels. No natural avalanche activity observed. Cornices below 1500 m looked like they were just re-forming after dropping in warm temperatures I suspect. Cornices look larger in the Alpine over 6500 feet The first buried crust was down 10 to 50 cm
