Skier exiting short gully feature triggered a sz 1 slab 20-60cm deep, 15m wide, running 30m which failed on surface hoar and surface facets buried yesterday. No involvement. North aspect, 2,055m.
Stuck to below treeline pillow lines the rest of the afternoon, with small slabs breaking off any small convexities. Several whumpfs and shooting cracks observed on short steep slopes on tour back out to summit of White Queen.
