<p>Between 1200m and 1600m we saw ~15cm of fresh dry powder on top of a 1"-thick melt-freeze crust. Considerable depth of rounds below this crust. Above 1600m there was much better bonding and no melt-freeze crust all the way up to 1850m. Above 1850m the snow was very wind-affected.</p>
