Panorama Ridge
Banff Yoho Kootenay

Cold but nice day up to Panorama Ridge. Almost all the tour was in thick trees to mitigate risk from the new snow. The best turns were at the top of the ridge with some alpine to thinner trees. Rode 1 convex slope. Did some pressure testing with both of us jumping above our skin track (we were too cold to dig a pit at this point). Definitely some compression in the layers but no audible whumpfing. Was slow traversing back along the mostly flat section to get back to the Taylor Creek to ride the rest of the way down. Overall more of a cool summit objective but a lot of effort on the way down as well.
