Toured up to (almost) 2200m from sled at 1700m. Moist snow at sled (almost +3 there) on low angle W aspect.
No signs of recent avalanche activity, no reactivity to sled or skis (only observed / touched low angle rolling terrain)
The last couple of cold nights have nicely preserved the snow (T10 of -4 at 2200m) .... great dry pow on N aspect, good dense pow on low angle W aspect, sun crust starting on S aspect .... pesky right now, but well on the way to the next corn !
Moist snow below 1800m
Moderate SW wind at ridgetop but only light snow transport.
Note: Coal Creek Rd at the booth is quite melted out ..... couple of km’s of fully-down-to-gravel, then couple of km’s of patchy

Avalanche Conditions
Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
Snow Conditions
Powder.
Weather Conditions
