Adit Ridge

msulkers, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Evidence of a size 2 dry slab avalanche running long out of easternmost north facing chute of Adit ridge. Windloaded sudden convexity at top released and ran into 30 degree terrain before stopping. 2 size 1 dry slabs 30cm crowns released sympathetically from moraines as initial avalanche ran through. SH preserved under storm slab in Corral Basin from TL down causing whumpfing and chuting cracks to six metres on low angle slopes near the bottom. We skied supported terrain to 35 degrees using ramps and ribss.
