Natural Avalanche Activity

We spent Saturday night at Wendy Thompson Hut. We noticed a new slab avalanche on the Saturday morning at 9am that wasn’t there the day before at 4pm. NE facing slope and surprisingly not that steep (maybe around 25 degrees). We stayed on South and South West facing slopes under 30 degrees which skied well.
