Refreshing!

Party of two skinned up to crowfoot glades. Saw parties up in the glades, and saw several skiers in the bowl above the moraine. Today was sunny with moderate wind and strong gusts up in the alpine. Enjoyed 15-20 cm of fresh snow that made for excellent skiing in the glades. Due to the cooler temps the snow was soft and light (fist). Did not see any signs of instability where we skied. Heard a loud rumble around 1:35 pm and looked up to witness a powder cloud coming off of Crowfoot mountain. Suspected cornice failure from above which fell onto one of the fans and triggered a small size 1. It did not run very far.
