West side of Sky pilot avalanche

Witnessed a solo skier remote trigger a size 2 while crossing under the west face of sky pilot towards the stadium glacier around 12 pm. The skier was not buried and uninjured, however he lost his pole. Large blocks of slab were present in the debris. The wind was very strong at the time with a lot of snow movement. We noticed settling of the snow pack with whumping on flat terrain. There was a very firm wind slab in places.
