Wet Bulldozer

A few pockets of wind affected powder on north aspects, otherwise sun crust. Windy on the ridge.

Observed pinwheels 8 AM Saturday as we skinned up south facing gully, the standard route to Saxifrage. The next day on the way out we observed slide debris filling the same gully (see photos). Did not directly observe the avalanche, but we assume it happened sometime Saturday in the heat of the day. We saw streak marks on side of gully up to 2-3 m above snow level, and massive debris pile.
