Gorge sluffing

Sluff management was the name of the game today. The 30 cm of snow from the past couple days didn't see wind effect yet up to 2000 m, keeping the snow very fluffy. The snow would sluff on any slope above 30 degrees. It was sitting on a melt freeze crust below 1650 m.
We kept the day fairly tame given the wack of layers in the snowpack and had a very enjoyable storm skiing day by managing the terrain.
