West Nile

10 AM start - no wind - sunny sky’s with a -10 C. River crossing not filled in. Tippy toed across a section to the north with skis on. Thankfully held. 12 “ of fresh well bonded and settled. No wind impact to the tree line of West Nile. Couldn’t see well enough into Alpine but wind loading looked negligible. No evidence of any instability at tree-line or any alpine. Probed 80-100 cms at top of Avi path. Decent snow coverage but another 30 cms will fill in the Avi path very well. Sun was out all day but certainly wasn’t warm enough to create a crust / melt layer.
