Slept in and waved at the whirly birds

Warm temperatures have made the upper 5-10 cm of snow moist. The skiing was still good despite the heavier moist snow. Our ski cuts produced small roller balls and nothing else. We stuck to north aspects where we found almost no wind effect in the new snow, which overlies old firm surfaces from the outflow wind event. We didn’t see any new avalanches or find any concerning results with tests in our snow profile.
