South Side of Blackcomb Peak

Dry loose snow is not bonding to the surface below, and this natural avalanche looks like it ran on a shallow/rocky steep slope in the alpine. Picture was taken at 3pm from Disease Ridge. Skin tracks set that day were covered by the avalanche(s), so likely ran earlier in the day.

Lightly snowing + mostly cloudy & overcast throughout the day. Sun came out for an hour between 2-3pm
