Cold day at the hottest spot in town

Busy day at the hot popular Gorge. Good skiing and limited wind effect where we topped out and pulled out the shovels at 1940m. We dug down 70cm to the early Dec crust which was 4cm thick and well bonded above and below, giving no results in snowpack tests. We also found a layer of surface hoar crystals 25cm deep that showed no propagation in snowpack tests.
