Snowpack

AST2: Snow profile at 1900m on a North aspect. HS 170. Near ridgetop on East Peak Evening Ridge. Observed ECTP 23 down 50 on SH 6mm. CTH 21 (SP) down 50cm on January 3rd SH 6mm. Also CTE 8 (PC) down 6cm on recent thin freezing rain crust. Observed crust BTL below 1700m down 10cm. Crust was firm and appeared to provide bridging, at 1900m this was observed as a softer density change.
