Returning to ski area after touring, we noted the re-development of windslabs on NW asp just below ridgecrests from 10-45cm thick. These lay over low density grains or small facets just above the 180106 Mfcr. Ski cuts produced small slab releases on features over 36 degrees. Shooting cracks to 6m observed on convexities with sudden rollovers. Ski pen in lee asp above 1900m to 25cm. Only significant results in test pits involved facetting 1.5cm above 180106 Mfcr and the unconsolidated nature of the crust as one gained altitude on polar asp. This eventually resulted in sudden collapses of the Mfcr from 1950m and up.
