Cloudy, cold (High 8°F - snotel data). 40+ mph WSW winds above treeline, 15-25mph at lower elevations. S1-S2 snowfall with light - moderate transport. Intense transport above treeline. HN24 - 30-35cm. Hand hardness test - W aspect, 11,000ft, HS 185cm. Evaluated the top 125cm. In general, the tested snowpack has consolidated with the recent weather cycles. The two most prominent crust layers were identified @ 81cm and 160cm - pencil hard. Minor cracking of new snow layer - isolated to wind drifted terrain features. No collapsing observed.
