Steep Creek

There was significant whoomphing on the approach up the creek, but it tapered off as we got higher above the hut. An ECT on a NW aspect at around 1950m gave no results on the facet layer down 70 -- had partial propagation to shovel width at 16 taps, but it didn't extend the length of the column. What was most concerning was the hard RP result we got at 24 taps on the basal facets (15 or so cm right on the ground). I attached a photo taken after the ECT showing the facet layer near the ground.
