Eyes into the Alpine

Today we attempted to fix the Summit weather station. We only travelled from Tiny Town to the Summit weather station but the good visibility this morning allowed us to get our first alpine observations since the previous series of storms dropped about 100 cm of snow in White Pass in the past week. On our drive out to Tiny Town and through our field day we observed no new avalanches. Southern slopes have been extensively wind-pressed and any snow available for transport has been blown to northerly aspects.
