Snow from Kieth's hut to anniversary col ranged from 20-25cm of creamy powder sitting ontop of a zipper crust below 2000m, to wind affected yet soft and smooth in higher exposed alpine terrain. Overall skied nicely with no signs of instability. Snow in the Aussie couloir was soft storm deposit sitting right side up and skied exceptionally well with minimal sluff. A small amount of soft windslab was present at the very top of the line but was easily managed. While taking a look at the entrance of a NW facing couloir near motel66 on our way out, we were very easily able to crack a cornice tab off which triggered a 20-30cm fresh windslab below. Snow below 1800m on the ski out was getting quite heavy in the p.m.
