Sea To Sky

Poked my head into north end of the tantalus range. Skins on round 800m. Wet, heavy, cement-like powder from 1000-1500m. Pretty awful for trailbreaking and tough skiing out. Snow became lighter above, but I only got up to 1700m before heading out. Overcast and light rain overnight to morning (28-29/03) and clearing up in afternoon (29/03) I’d avoid any approaches for a few days till we get a nice melt freeze crust, not quite spring yet.
