A lot of wind up high in the Tunnel / McDermott areas. The bomber crust is generally down 45-65cm and not showing any signs of breaking down when we dug for it. We didn’t see any activity from the persistent slab. Some small crowns from the last couple days on steep solar aspects but didn’t appear to have stepped down. Large cornices in the normal locations. Slab building on predominantly NE through to SE lee features throughout the day. Skiing surprisingly good! Above 1900m snow still dry. Polar aspects or other aspects in sheltered locations good down to 1700m approx. Sloppy below this.
