<p>When traversing a slope to avoid another party, we triggered a size 1-2. Slow moving due to lower slope angle, but certainly a wakeup call about how weak some near-ground layers are.</p>

Alpine slopes.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.
