Taking A Peek at Capulet
Vancouver Island

A solid day checking out Capulet Peak. Parked the car at 800m and worked our way up the road and through the cut blocks. Lots of surface hoar observed on the road snow surface. We encountered great travel conditions after the boot pack at ~1100m. Smooth sailing across the lake and up to the summit. We set our skin track with the intention of avoiding potential wind loaded features. There were wind deposits of up to 10cm on top of a firm crust, however, we did not observe any signs of instability.
