Norn of the bad stuff here

Great day in the Norns thanks to the Castlegar Snowmobile Association's grooming. Got above the inversion to sunny skies and light northerly winds. Slight sun crust on sun affected slopes, and surface hoar growing in the shade. Riding was great where it wasn't tracked out! Still some good turns out there to find. Dug a quick pit on a SE aspect, 2200 m to check out this December layer we've heard about. Looks really well bonded, no results on our tests. Previous wind loading for sure, but we didn't venture onto any wind loaded slopes to check out reactivity.
