Pulpit 5 east face

Skied east face down pulpit 5 and experienced a wide range of conditions down the lookers right ridge. Wind loaded pockets and windslabs on the north side of the ridge, and wind buffed/crusty on the south side. Sloughing was present and ran far but didn’t gain much volume (0.5 at most). We pieced our way down the ridge without incident but we were very weary of the variable conditions.
In addition to the east face of 5, we skied the north face of 5 into the bowl as well as the lower lookers left chute on 4 that is east facing and did not note or experience any sign of instability there. Snow was also more consistent than on the east face of 5.
It was snowing all day and less windy than expected but strong gusts came up intermittently. 0 degrees at the car.
Lastly, the river is mostly open and we crossed on what seemed would likely be one of very few remaining ice bridges.
