Weeping Wall Centre - Ice

<p>Drove from Jasper this morning and there variable amount of new snow on the road ranging from 5-15cm (estimate). Snowing S-1 at the parking lot but the sun came out and warmed everything up. +1 at the car at 1500 but if felt much warmer on the ice. While pulling our ropes after the final rappel we witnessed a small size 1 come down 50m to our right. While it wouldn’t have buried anyone it would have been a very unpleasant shower at best. Debris included snow chunks up to a cubic meter in size and rocks, it left large the holes in the snow. Looks like it came down from the bench right of rap station below the tree. We also heard the rumble of an avalanche in the distance before this. There is debris from a few similar previous incidents. Ice is very sun effected, we were still able to find reasonable screws but were aware of them melting out with the sun. Snow at the top was moist. </p>
