A sunny day on Thar

A very sunny day up on the Coquihalla.
Started the day at the falls lake turnoff around 9am. Temperature was approx -14 in the shade. Our group of three toured up Thar's ridgeline to the peak, then rode down to the col, then the north bowl - touring back past falls lake to the turnoff.
The lower sections of Thar’s ridge received tons of solar this afternoon so it could be problematic with future sunny days. Above treeline we experienced some slabs and wind loading. The top 1/3 of the ridge is wind blasted so prepare for a spicy trek (unless you have crampons).
The ride down to the col from Thar peak had variable conditions ranging from heavy power to wind crust.
The north bowl rode well with deep powder. We stuck to mellow slopes as it had some wind loading. One member of our group set off a small sluff slide (pictured in this report) which ran approx 20ft.
When touring back alone the lake, multiple slides were visible coming from the north side of Thar’s peak - including the couloir, which looks like it popped a few days ago. (pictured in this report)
