The canyon up to Bow hut still has excellent coverage. Convexities in the alpine were touchy, surface wind slab was cracking off the ski. Above Bow Hut the snow on the glacier was good skiing.
At 08:00 we observed an avalanche off the east face of Haddo Peak from the highway, Na, no obvious trigger, large powder cloud suspected size 2 or 3, hard to determine as we could not see the runout.
Exiting the canyon, below the uptrack to Bow Hut, we passed a recent size 1 slab avalanche, down 30cm, around 15m wide, ran into the canyon, on a steep westerly slope.
