Pow laps on Chief Pascal

South Coast Inland

We did a few hot laps off the NE aspect of the N shoulder of Chief Pascal, enjoying some amazing powder on the mellow open terrain. At around 2pm the snow was starting to feel heavier and a little more slabby, and precip was starting, so we decided to head down, trending through trees and the gulley towards Equinox, which we linked into near its terminus. Roughly 70cms of right side up powder with light precip through the day (a few cms). The snow got quite a bit wetter and heavier through the day. No signs of recent activity, no whumfing or cracks.
