Poking around on the Craigs

Kootenay Boundary

South side of the Craigs was expectedly unbreakable crust and wind scoured. There is about 75mm of crust over very wet corn snow. On the north/NE side there are pockets of powder in the most shaded and protected spots but mostly a zipper crust over hot grabby pow. The wind was howling on the ridgetop and the light was super flat. No signs of instability though.
