Another gorgeous day!

Another great day in the gorge area! We skied some lovely creamy powder in the trees on a solar aspect. The day was warm and foggy at the car and a bit cooler and more comfortable at the top. The clouds eventually got higher and visibility was good even though it remained overcast all day. Light breeze to no wind at ridge top. Foot penetration below tree line was 75cm, and ski penetration was around 5cm on the ridge. Some evidence of sluffing from steep and exposed terrain, but no other signs of instability. We could feel a thin and soft melt freeze crust with the ski poles at around 1400m, but it disappeared quickly with elevation.
