Short day at Hummingbird

Short day riding simple terrain below the tree line just west of hummingbird pass. No signs of instability. Good snow. Dug a pit, see snowpack section.
Pit tests near hummingbird pass on SE aspect at 1600m. Compression test yielded non planar fracture on recent storm snow, CTM 18. Resistant planar fracture on crust layer 31 cm down, CTH 23. Extended column yielded no reactions.
