NW bowl cokely icy

We skied up the saddle route on Arrowsmith then up and over to the NW bowl on cokely and down Rousseau chute back to car. We had truck parked at 1000m with minimal snow on the road. Snow was surprisingly thin at 1000m but deep enough to skin up saddle route. Wet snow down low. Wet snow froze overnight at 1350m elevation to form and breakable crust. Hard crust skiing down NW bowl made for difficult turns. Back down on Rousseau chute trail we again found softer wet snow made for fast turn to road.
