Crowfoot Glades

Snowing lightly until mid-afternoon. -12C in the a.m. warming to -10C during the day. Probing around noticed the rain crust (thick) ~40cm down at the base of the glades (1960m). HS (Height of Snow) ~155cm down low. Very thin or no crust up top (2240m). Surprised to see little cornicing or snow coming off the headwall after the MINs from Saturday. Confirmed the sloughing (dry loose) problem potential in steeper terrain BTL (Below Treeline). Lots of groups out enjoying the excellent skiing and riding.
