Had a great day out on Boundary. Lots of sun crusts, but the top 10-15 cm was a silky smooth snow. We dug a pit at 2600 meters. HS was 85cm and had results of CTM(14), SP to ground. Then ECTM(17). A few older cracks in the snow from slides that didn't go, but no surface instabilities noted. By 1 PM, the snow was becoming wet at 2400m and we set of some small wet slides (photo) just above Boundary Lake on a fairly steep slope. Overall a great day out, we played it safe on each run, and enjoyed the amazing spring snow conditions.
