Day trip to Iago peak from Zopkios break check. We skiied a few laps in the north bowl and did not bother to head onto the summit. Boot penetration 50cm to 60cm average, ski penetration 40cm to 50cm. The day was cold throughout, it was minus 11C at 4pm if felt warmer in the morning, but definitely below zero. Snow was dry, unconsolidated and fluffy. No signs of instability observed. Very very light wind on the ridge, and no evidence of any wind impacts anywhere along the way. No avalanche activity along the way. We though could see small point releases on the granite of Yak peak in steep and unsupported areas from the parking lot. The Snow skiied amazing, like a dream.
