<p>Today in Harvey Pass we traveled up to 2150m and found 25cm of storm snow. Hand shears on our travels up a NE aspect were failing 25cm down on some small facets. We continued to assess this as we approached the ridge crest and an alpine feature, but found no slab properties within the storm snow at ALP or TL. The old surface is a MFcr on most aspects. We did not see or make any new avalanches.
We found some large-sized cornices on lee ridges. The backside of these cornices is melting out on the windward side. We saw a little snow being transported by southwest wind but only found wind-affected snow in isolated areas.
Freezing levels remained at the valley bottom and it snowed lightly throughout the day with little accumulation.
