Crowfoot Glades

Skied the North facing sparse trees off of Crowfoot Glades. Bow lake was frozen but wet in spots. There is still some open water around creeks and in the middle of the lake. There was lots of snow but skiing was very poor skiers left, everything was wind hammered and facets in the sparse trees. We decide not to ski the open bowl skiers hard left because it it was hallow sounding wind slab sitting on facets on the ground. Are second run we skied out a creek in big trees and the snow was much better but lots of log hopping. All of the moraines and fans to the north need another meter of snow to be skiable.
