Quick Observation

Arctic air receding through the day, warming to -5 in the alpine. Observed 30cms storm snow bonding well to a soft underlying crust on E aspects around 1600m. E Facing gully feature observed to have run full path during last cycle. Approx 1m crown, possibly more than 100m wide, running 750 vertical meters. Travel from valley bottom is arduous.
