Waddington Hut + Mt Frodo

3 day trip to Waddington Hut with VOC. Approach is fully snow covered. Both lakes are frozen. We skied Cabin Hill and NW-facing slopes off of Mt. Frodo. No signs of instability in any areas around the hut. Two sz. 1 avalanches seen on Dec. 30th on South facing slopes above the lower lake, below Mt. Shadowfax. We did not see them slide, likely were there before the 30th. Skiing was very good, lots of light powder, especially at higher elevations. Very light snowfall on Jan 1st (when we left).
