Quick tour out of the resort to check the snowpack for curiosity. BTL in this region the snowpack is not very supportive making for difficult travel off an established track.
HS77 at 2300m north aspect. Surface hoar in sheltered areas at TL. At TL it seems the Dec 7 interface supports skis PS 25. PF 50. Boots step down to the Oct/nov crusts down 50. Approximately 10cm of facets on top of these crusts. CTM17 BRK down 50 in facets above the crust.
Ski quality poor. But maybe that’s because I was on teles!
