Holzworth/Bullmoose incident

sled triggered avalanche incident on Saturday March 25th in the Holzworth area of Bullmoose riding area in Tumbler Ridge. Snowmobiler was fortunate to have ridden away from the size 2+ avalanche. Large scale propagation from unsupported Alpine start zone ran approx 300M on unsupported/Covex track into a deep gulley feature. The majority of avalanche debris filled the gulley feature. We also noted several other (albeit older) large avalanches on the same slope within the past week. Many snowmobilers continued to ride this big features despite the indications of fresh avalanche activity. Fortunately, no other avalanches were triggered in that zone today.
