Mica Mountain, Fire Lake

<p>Snow for most of the morning, around 2pm light freezing rain started. Overcast all day with alpine socked in very low visibility. 140 cm snow pack 20 Degree slope \ Temp -5 East Aspect \ Elevation 1814m CTE 1 15cm CTE 4 35cm CTM 1 45cm CTM 7 60cm CTH No result While digging our pit we noticed with the fresh now over the lat week the top layer is very unstable down to about 60 cm. The snow under that has really solidified and would not budge. </p>
