Some observations from Little Sand today. Forgot my picture taking device, so just words. Lots of sled tracks. 145cm depth at 2000m Ski pen 20cm +/- Hoar frost 1.5cm. Knocked down from the wind but still standing in sheltered areas. It was calm. Above the fog, solar effect was significant. Trees dripping. Skins glopping. Snow on the ground wasn’t getting too affected when we left at 1pm. On the way out there were numerous new natural pt. release avalanches in the avy paths. sizes from 1- 1.75 which did not step down or entrain too much snow.
