Warm and windy day out at Corbin. We saw several natural cornice collapses from yesterday that also triggered wind slabs below (size 2). Also a snowmobile accidental wind slab in a NW alpine bowl that was reported as yesterday. There were some size 1 wet loose avalanches, from yesterday, but less than we expected for sure. Today the high cloud came in and combined with the moderate SW wind kept the snow cool. At 2000m only the top 5 cm was moist and on solar aspects it was up to 15 cm. We found good riding at treeline in sheltered areas.
