Paul Ridge N fully

james.keevel, Wednesday 23rd October, 2024 9:32PM

Pretty stormy out here today. We trigged convex slopes remotely, propagated all along the ridge. Likely wind loaded based on the moderate SW winds. Crown was 40-50cms although be didn’t investigate up close. Runout was further than we expected so some of the storm snow in the gully must have transported too. We observed many other convex/wind loaded slabs on the same aspects that slide (same crown height) on the way out (along the summer trail). Riding was okay but not worth the wet half day out given the snow was heavy and not super fun to ski.
