April 13, 2017 Log cabin mountain. Unsettled weather in AM with clearing in afternoon. N wind 10-20km/h. 3C at 10am. Barely freezing overnight. Crusty ascent on melt/freeze crust. 90 cm snow at treeline. Getting isothermal in trees at low elevations. Bare ground starting to show on ridges. Snow on SE aspects solar effect to at least 1500m
